This notice explains what information we collect through seo1.io, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

01

Who this notice covers

SEO1 operates seo1.io. This notice applies when you visit the website, submit an enquiry, request an audit, or schedule a meeting with us.

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy notices. Their practices are not covered by this notice.

02

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the website.

  • Contact details such as your name, work email address, and company.
  • Enquiry information such as your website URL, goals, challenges, budget range, timeline, and message.
  • Scheduling and correspondence information when you book or communicate with us.
  • Technical and security information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, request times, and security events.
  • Publicly available website or business information when you ask us to review a website.

03

How information is collected

We collect information directly from forms, meeting bookings, and correspondence; automatically through the infrastructure that delivers and protects the website; through providers you choose to use; and from public sources when completing a requested website review.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it and explain why it is needed.

04

How and why we use information

We use personal information only where we have a business or legal reason to do so.

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare a requested audit or proposal.
  • To manage meetings and potential client relationships.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, and misuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.

05

Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we generally rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, consent for non-essential tracking where required, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, or compliance with law.

You may object where processing relies on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already took place lawfully.

06

Required information

Required form fields are marked. You are not generally required by law to provide this information, but without the necessary details we may be unable to respond or assess a review request.

07

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that support website hosting, security, form delivery, customer communications, scheduling, and professional advice. We share only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.

08

Calendly and external services

The booking link opens a DMS Lab-branded Calendly page. Information entered there is processed to arrange the meeting and may also be processed by Calendly under its own privacy notice.

09

Cookies and similar technologies

SEO1 does not currently use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Hosting and security providers may use technologies necessary to deliver and protect the site.

If non-essential analytics, advertising, or embedded scheduling tools are introduced, we will update this notice and use consent controls before they run where applicable law requires them.

10

International processing

Service providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where transfer restrictions apply, we use a recognised legal mechanism or another lawful transfer basis appropriate to the provider and destination.

11

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution requirements.

The retention period depends on the status of an enquiry or engagement, security needs, and any record-keeping duty. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

12

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive portable data. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location.

To make a request, use the contact form and include privacy request in your message. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.

13

Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

The website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.

14

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised version will show a new last-updated date.

For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form and identify the request in your message.
